Nomadonwheels: Back to the Rain and driving with eight year olds!

Well it’s August and I have been in Europe around a month or so, in 380 days since I started this trip I have clocked up around 59,000km, I am currently in France the 22nd country of my trip. I did see an excellent condition Honda Africa Twin in Switzerland ; I am tempted to go back and buy it and send the BMW back to Australia.

After making a hasty exit from Italy I have to explain part of the reason why, normally I use to send an email with pictures and didn’t really worry about offending people, now that I have this Blog I need to remember that it’s a global audience, that said....I do have to say something about Italian drivers, now this is not the first time I have driven in Italy, back in 1993 I drove the length of Italy, but this is the first time on a motorcycle, I really have a deep desire to point out to you Italian drivers out there that Mr “Yes-a I am Italian and I am a crazy” and “Yes-a like-a formula one-a driver” .......NO you don't even have the skills to be on a public road let alone a race track!!.. I would describe you guys like a spoilt eight year old driving a go-cart for the first time...oh and eating a gelato, dropping it and looking for a serviette! I really don’t understand why or earth that Bocchini truck needs to actually get in front of the next car in a queue that goes way around the next corner or why you need to speed up to beat me into the round about only to brake hard so you don't go into the back of the other car thats already there!...ok just in case any of you belong to that special Italian family that makes house calls just remember I have a lighter and I am really good at starting fires...ahh ha ha!!
